Superlatives Announced

Recently, the seniors at SCHS elected the firs half of the superlatives for the 1998-1999 school year. The seniors elected DeWayne Swing and Mary-Alyson Gambill as Mr. and Miss Central. DeWayne is the son of Johnny Swing and Tina Arnold. He plans to attend Motlow and MTSU. He is the Vice-President of the Key club. DeWayne's interests are baseball and cars. Mary-Alyson is the daughter of Paul and Judy Gambill. She plans to attend MTSU and major in agriculture. Mary-Alyson is involved in FCS. She is Vice-President of Keyettes, and also the President of FFA.
Those voted for Most School Spirited were Jiffy Toulomelis and Matt Hayes. Jiffy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Toulomelis. She is currently the captain of the cheerleading squad. Matt is the son of Kimberly Davis. he is currently the senior class treasurer.
The superlatives of Most Likely to Succeed are Lori Arnold and Andrew McLean. Lori is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Arnold. Lori is currently a member of NHS. Andrew is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom McLean. Andrew is currently the second Vice President of the student body.
Those voted for Most Intellectual were Rebekah Cochran and Ben Barrett. Rebekah is the daughter of Leslie and Joe Cochran. She is currently the senior class president. Ben is the son of Tony and Melissa Barrett. he is currently an FCS officer.
Those voted for Most Courteous were Laura Beth Childers and Eric May. Laura Beth is the daughter of Janie and Barry Childers. Laura Beth is currently the Student Council President. Eric is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy May. he is currently a Key Club member.
Those voted for Best All Around were Lois Gray and Russ Robinson. Lois is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Gray. Lois currently the co-captain of the cheerleading squad. Russ is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Robinson. he is currently the President of FCA.
