Greetings from Sara Wood, Principal of East Side Primary
It is my hope that East Side Primary will be a safe and friendly place where each and every child can learn and grow to their own potential. Since we are a K-3 school, we launch students on the road to learning. Fun and exciting things are happening in our classrooms each and every day as the teachers continue developing that pathway that we hope will lead to a life-long love of reading and the acquisition of knowledge.
I believe that it is equally important for children to develop character traits like respect, honesty, kindness, responsibility, and compassion. At East Side we try to instill these values in our students. Our entire staff continually tries to model and teach these traits. We expect our students to show their understanding of these traits by treating one another and the staff in a respectful and kind manner. I want the students that leave East Side to take with them the knowledge that they can learn, the fire that leads to the pursuit of future learning, and some pleasant memories of their time spent with us.
