5. Class Policies

A. Students have the priviledge of using computers. Respect the property and remember computer rules have to be followed. Students should remember these are not home computers, they belong to the school and are used as educational tools only. The computers will be used for academic purposes matched to a teacher objective. The student should not decide to "look around, play with files, do another task, or etc." Following computer rules is also for the safety of students!

B. Take care of books. They are expensive! You are responsible for the book that is issued to you. Final exams will not be given to students that have obligations to the school (such as lost books).

C. Prescription drugs must be kept by the office. However, if your child is prone to headaches and/or stomach upsets, a couple of aspirin or Pepto-Bismol tablets can be kept in the office along with a note from you, the parent. The student should never give their medicine to another.

6. Grades

A. Daily grades, classwork, homework, projects, tests, and occasionally extra credit work will determine grades. Homework counts!

B. Make up the work you miss! It is your responsibility. If at all possible, be in class. When you are not there, you are missing something.
