Lesson Plan for Descriptive Language (Adjectives)

Grade Level: upper elem. students

Goal: Students can identify descriptive language and determine when to use it in their writing.

Students use descriptive language that clarifies and enhances ideas (e.g., describes familiar people, places, or objects)

This is a fun game that involves practicing the use of descriptive language.

This subject lends itself well to the study of propaganda techniques and adjectives.  If time permits and it fits with your curriculum,
