Annual Multimedia Project
Dear Parents,
Our students will be working on a research/multimedia project this school year. This will be a joint, yearlong project directed by "Block B" teachers. Your child will receive a social studies grade for content quality, an English grade for correct grammar and mechanics, and a reading grade for their multimedia presentation. Please read their information and become familiar with what they are attempting. We feel that students can benefit greatly from this project.
This is an annual project that Block "B" has been doing for ten years. We feel that this is a worthwhile project that teaches our students not only about a social studies topic, but addressses and reviews needed English and research skills. It gives students a chance to perfect their technology skills and it gives a student and opportunity to be creative. Organizational skills will also be stressed during this project. We, as teachers, have much practice with guiding your students to success. We will work very hard to see that your students understand the task. Please help us with your enthusiam for our project.
We feel that parents need to be informed of every aspect of this project. Please feel free to call us if there are any questions, concerns, or comments.
