Mary Pitner's Classroom Page

Welcome to Mrs. Pitner’s 4th – 5th Grade Looping Classroom. This is our second year together, since we are on the last year of our two-year loop. Our class has learned many fun and interesting things over the past two years. Last year, we posted a webpage about our town and county local government. Click here to see what we learned. So far this year, we have completed studies on the American Revolution, Slavery and the Underground Railroad, and many other interesting topics. Our year-long project is a scrapbook of our life. We have been working on it all year. By the time Fifth Grade is finished, we will have a book to treasure all of our lives. Last year, we built time capsules. We will open them before the end of school this year to see how much we have changed.

We will be working with a student teacher beginning March 5. Her name is Mrs. Coop and we can’t wait to meet her!
