COMPUTER LABIn our quest for software to install on the server for the lab, I want to clarify that the computers did come with the operating system-this is not what we are purchasing. We are going to purchase academic software for all grade levels. The type of software we are looking at is the kind that will track the progress of the children. We do have Star AR and AR. The teachers wrote grants a couple of years ago and we were able to purchase 2 networking programs. If you have any questions, please call or drop by and visit the lab.
HEAD LICERemember to ck. your child/children.
LOST COATSMs. Limbaugh has several coats in the gym. If your child has
lost one, come by the school and check our stack. We have no place to keep these lost coats. I am going to give them to Good Will or Salvation Army if we cannot find out whom they belong to. I see lots of new coats around the school. REMEMBER TO PUT YOUR CHILDS NAME IN THEIR COAT!!!
BROADVIEW EAGLESThe Eagles played North Lake Jan. 10th winning both of the games. Girls score20-13------Boys score39-13. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
The Eagles will play again Thursday, Jan. 17 at Cowan Elementary. Game time is 6:30 and 7:30.

SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TOThere will be no school for the students on the 21st of January and the 18th of February.
FROM THE LIBRARY--Thanks to Christopher Mullican, Trenton Vanzant, Joshua Vanzant,
and Jeremy Vanzant for donating a very nice set of books to our library. They will
soon be on our shelves when I receive the AR test for them. Thank you to Jonathan
and Michael Amacher for donating an AR book to our library. We appreciate these
donations!
Please remember to save Campbell's labels and Boxtops for Education. Students, write
your name on the back of the Boxtop and we will have a drawing for a free movie
rental.
