NATIONAL SCHOOL BOARD WEEK—Broadview is showing their appreciation for our school board members by sending baked cookies and a pie to each member.

COMPUTER LAB—Our students are enjoying the computer lab. Stop by and visit.

CANDY SALE—Our candy sale has gone great. We only have 45 boxes left to sell. We are very appreciative to all who have sold or bought candy.

BPTO—Due to bad weather our January meeting was cancelled. Our next meeting will be the 12th of February at 6:30 in the school cafeteria. We are going to discuss plans for the Country Music Show. The show has been tentatively scheduled for March 15th and 16th. Frankie Taylor

THE KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS—Sponsoring the Second Annual Free Throw Championship.

The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 10-14. The competition will be held at Clark Memorial School on February 2, 2002. The gym will be opened at 12:00 PM and the competition will run from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. The local contact for the event is Gene Snead. Phone—967-6299. Please call Mr. Snead if you have any questions.

FROM THE LIBRARY--Evan Morris, Katelyn Medley, Chris Medley and Jesse Alsono have donated books to our library.  Jim and Holly Cortner have purchased an AR book in honor of Robert Cortner's birthday.  Jim Prince has donated an AR book in honor of Mrs. Schultz's birthday.  Troy and Marilyn Huber have purchased an AR book in honor of Autumn Huber's birthday.  Happy birthday, Robert, Autumn, and Mrs. Schultz!  Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Schultz have purchased an AR book in memory of Flint Franklin.

BASKETBALL—Broadview played Cowan last week-the score of the girl’s game was 19-27— boy’s game 44-57. This week the Eagles will play Sewanee at North Lake. Game time 4:30 and 5:30. This will be our last ball of the regular season.

ALTERNATE SCHOOL SURVEY—Please return the survey that was sent home on Friday as soon as possible. We must return them to the BOE.

A REMINDER—Remember to pull up to the stop sign in the mornings, we can unload more children at the same time.
