TERRA NOVA—Testing will begin on the 18^th and continue through the 22^nd of March.Please do not plan any unnecessary doctor or dentist appointments during this time. It is important that the students take the test with their class.

HELP -- PROCTORS NEEDED—We need proctors for the Terra Nova test that will be given Monday, March 18^th- Friday, March 22^nd. If you would be willing to proctor for a classroom, please call the school 967-0132 and give your name to Ms. Boswell. If you are unsure of what the duties will be, please call me and I will explain what is expected of you. It is not hard.

BASKETBALL BANQUET-- will be held on Thursday March 7^th at 6:00 in the school cafeteria. A representative will contact each member’s family concerning details.

NEWS FROM THE ART DEPARTMENT— The "Duck" contest designs are due in to Ms. Bucher tomorrow.

LOOKING AHEAD--6^th Grade Castles—are due April 10^th. Broadview School (K-6) Art Exhibit will be up from April 8^th-19^th. Ms. Bucher

NEWS FROM THE BPTO—The Country Music Show dates will be March 15^th and 16^th. We still have a few slots open for both nights. Please call Sydonna @ 967-3673 if you would like to participate.

The last rehearsal will be this Saturday night March 9^th, @ 6:30 pm. Anyone performing in the Saturday night show will need to be there. This will be the last rehearsal before the shows. If you have any question or need information, please call. Frankie Taylor

MONEY SALE—Due to being out for snow the "money scramble" for those who sold enough candy (3 boxes) has been rescheduled for Wed. March 6^th @ 2:30 in the gym. All prizes will be awarded Wednesday. As soon as we get all of the money in, I will give you a total. We are looking at several computer programs for our lab. If you have not turned your candy money in, please do so.

MOTLOW PLAY—The students will travel by bus to Motlow College to see the "The Elves and the Shoemaker" Friday morning, March 8^th. Students will need a sack lunch. If your child needs a sack lunch, the cafeteria needs to be notified by the 7^th. There is no cost for the students.

FROM THE LIBRARY-Correction: Last week’s newsletter stated that a book had been bought in Kayla Baker’s great-grandmother’s memory. It should have read Kayla Hill. I apologize for the error. Thank you, Brandi Renfroe, for donating a new Junie B. Jones book to our library! The following AR books have been purchased from our library: (2.) SPRING BREAK-begins on the 29^th of March. Easter activities will take palace on the 28^th of March. Contact your child’s teacher for details concerning the parties.

STARS PROGRAM- Mr. Jim Williams will present a program to the 5^th grade students on March 25^th.
