The "EAGLE" Newsletter

A THOUGHT--It has been said, that from the depths of darkness, we can achieve some immense good. As the new week begins, we are all looking back on what has happened during the past week. Many lives were lost, many hearts broken. Irreplaceable damage has been inflicted upon America, physically and mentally. The SPIRIT of THE UNITED STATES, though, has become STRONGER than ever.

Broadview School will continue to fly its flag at half-mast until the 22nd of September. A candle will burn beside the door as you come in—in remembrance of the many lives that were lost and in honor of the rescue workers who are working so hard to help during this time of tragedy.

From The Library--The class that turns in the most Campbell’s labels and Box tops for Education from Sept. 17-25 will be treated to a pizza party that is sponsored by WCDT. Gather together all the box tops and labels you can find from your home and from family members! Lets’ make the number high! Thanks! Thomas Farris, Matthew Stachel, Nick Farris, Jared Pickett, and Brandi Renfroe have donated books to our library from their home collections. Thank you! Happy 8th birthday to Lacey Crabtree! Her parents, Troy and Tina Crabtree purchased an AR book in her honor. Thank you very much!
