NATURAL HISTORY PROGRAM—2:00 PM Wed. Dec. 5th, in the gymnasium.

TENNIS SHOE SKATES—With Christmas coming, I know lots of children want the tennis shoes with skates in them. I am asking early that you not let them wear them to school now nor after Christmas. It would be a real temptation not to try and skate. Thanks for your help.

AFTERNOON BUS DUTY—Again, we are looking at different options for our students. We are trying to come up with a working solution so that the bus riders do not have to sit so long downstairs. At 2:50 the first bell will ring and all pickups will go down. When the second bell rings at 3:00 the bus riders will go down. Hopefully this will help and the bus riders will not have to sit so long. We need your help. If your child is normally a bus rider and you are going to pick them up, please call and let us know. Calling ahead will help us to have them in the pick up line so that you will not have to wait for them.

BROADVIEW GIRL SCOUTS—Are collecting non-perishable foods for the Food Drive. The High School and local citizens are sponsoring the food drive. If you would like to help – Call Stephanie Jones 968-9766

FROM THE LIBRARY— Robert Cortner purchased a nice book from the Scholastic Book Fair for the library.  Thank you, Robert, for this generous donation! An A R book has been purchased in honor of Chase Vernon, who will celebrate his first Christmas as an American citizen this year. Chase is in Ms. Rogers’s Kindergarten class. Congratulations Chase.

All of the teachers that received books from the book fair were very appreciative!  Thanks to everyone that made purchases at our book fair.  Remember- the book fair will be here this week, also.  I will pack the boxes on Thursday afternoon to be ready for pickup on Friday.
Thank you, Kali Hutson and Mrs. Debbie King for donating books to our library from your home collections.
BOOK FAIR—The Scholastic Book Fair arrived at Broadview on Nov.25th and is open through December 7th. Family members and friends are welcome at any time. Come shopping for Christmas gifts and help our library grow! Thank you. Ms. Rose

BROADVIEW EAGLES—The Eagles played Decherd last Thursday. The girls’ won their game, with the boys’ falling to Decherd. Broadview plays Huntland—Thursday Dec. 6th –4:30 –5:30 at North Lake.

SCHOOL PICTURES—Pictures were sent home Monday the 19th. Picture money needs to be turned in before the Christmas holidays.

PARENTING CLASSES—There is one class left. Dec. 3rd is Session Three – this session will cover communication skills, anger and conflict resolution. The course will be taught at Clark Memorial School and will begin at 6:30 p.m.

TARDIES--Tardy time counts up to days absent. If your child is late coming in, his/her class has already started. It takes up valuable teaching time to redo lunch count, attendance report and to stop and get them caught up with the rest of the class.

50% OFF SALE!!! —We do have some Broadview Cookbooks left. We would love to sell them. ($10.00)--- $5.00 each.

Broadview Ornaments—These are the ones we had for the "50" year open house. $2.00 each.

BPTO—Will meet Tuesday night, Dec. 11th at 6:30 in the school cafeteria. We are back to our regularly scheduled time—the second Tuesday of each month. We will wrap up Harvest Festival activities. Frankie Taylor
