The Curriculum Lab was designated as a regional textbook depository for the State Department of Education in 1984. Each year, textbooks under consideration for adoption by local education agencies are housed in the Lab. During the review period, traditionally July through March, adoption books may not be circulated from the Lab.Upon completion of the review process, the textbooks are catalogued and integrated with the established collection. This collection includes state adopted textbooks, kits, games, curriculum guides, idea books, computer software and materials from professional organizations.
The collection responds to the needs and requests of faculty members and serves primarily to support the teacher education courses.
