Conferences Training and Staff Development TLG'99..........Any teacher who wishes to participate in the Tech Literacy Grant '99 may do so by contacting Martha Nixon. Teachers who complete the training and simple steps of the module will receive $200 and a chance for $2,000 or $10,000. Tech Training Center will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 throughout April and May to allow teachers to train and complete the modules. Call 692-3467 to find out more. High School Staff Development .....During planning time at GCHS during April. Classroom in a Box Training.....July 6-16. (Only if grant is awarded and only for those identified in individual letters.) High Schools That Work Conference......July 7-10 in Atlanta. Local Educational Technology Conference.....July 19-22, 9:00-3:00. Business Edge For Teachers, School Reform .... July 16-18..... High School Teachers Only at Fall Creek Falls. This retreat is expense paid for Grundy County High School teachers who have preregistered. During this retreat teachers will work on school reform issues, learn more about what business needs and fellowship with other GCHS teachers and administrators. More to Come ....
