January Teacher of the Month Ms. Suzan Childers Suzan Childers is a kindergarten teacher at Palmer Elementary School. She lives in Beersheba Springs and this is her third year to teach. Suzan taught her first two years at Tracy City Elementary School. Suzan's peers recognize her as patient with her students and forwards high expectations geared to her students' individual abilities. Suzan works well with parents to optimize benefits for everyone. Suzan is well organized and is always in control. Suzan is a natural. She possess the creativity that enables her to use the materials at her disposal, no matter how meager. While skillfully concentrating on the successes in her students, she is optimistic and displays the attitude that "we're in this together." Suzan's supervisors have noted that she doesn't allow behavior problems to stop her from teaching as she strives to personally achieve her best. Keep up the good work, Suzan.
