Technology Literacy Grant '99 Welcome to the Technology Literacy Grant '99. It is through this grant that Grundy County was able to connect all of our classrooms to the internet. With funds provided in the 1998 funding, each classroom was wired and many computers were upgraded and are now accessing the internet. This year the grant has been extended to provide teacher training in using the internet and at the same time we will be helping the State Department of Education develop a rich resource of internet lesson plans for use in our classrooms that are corelated to the state curriculum frameworks. Once this project is complete, we will be able to find a wealth of resources at our fingertips to use in our classrooms. With your help, this project will be possible. Each teacher that participates and completes the tasks as outlined on the TLG99 website will receive $200.00. Register now to participate.
