    "Another new counselor!" Since you've possibly heard your child make this statement, I wanted to take the time to introduce myself to you.  Let me begin by saying how great it is to be here at Madison Creek!  I look forward to getting to know all of you and your children.

    I graduated from Murray State University in 1995 with a degree in Elementary Education.  My first teaching job was here in Sumner County.  I taught 2nd grade for four years in Gallatin, and last year was my first year as a guidance counselor.

    As the guidance counselor, I do much more than teach guidance classes.  My duties include: small group and individual counseling, parent and teacher consultations and making referrals to outside agencies.  Please don't hesitate to call if you feel you or your child could benefit from any of these services.  I can be contacted at 859-4991 from 7:00 - 2:30.
