Bering Land Bridge National Preserve

by James

Bering Land Bridge National Preserve is located near Nome, Alaska.  It is connected from Alaska to Asia.  In the summer, Eskimos herd reindeer there.  Other mammals include muskox, moose, grizzly bears, wolves, wolverines, foxes and other small species.  Also, in winter, sometimes Polar Bears will come ashore.  Some things tourists like to do is go camping, fishing, and boating.  It is believed that the first people who came to North America crossed the Bering Land Bridge.
