Brown Bear

Brown Bears live in Alaska but not in the islands of Fredrick Sound.
Bears at the biggest are 1400 pounds.  Females weigh half to three quarters as much.
Offspring may not have cubs the next year.  Bears may spend from 5 to 7 1/2 months in dens.

Red Squirrel

The Red Squirrel is 11 to 13 inches in length (2/33 cm) including the tail.
They have rusty/olive color in the upper parts of their bodies.
The Red Squirrel's main predators are hawks, owls, and Marten.  People eat Red Squirrels.
