Mary Sheilds

Mary Sheilds is married and lives in Fairbanks, Alaska.  She was the first women to finish the Iditarod ®.  Mary completed the race in twenty-third place.  Her time was 28 days, 18 hours, 56 minutes.  She never entered the Iditarod Race again, but has competed in other races.  Mary is originally from a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
