Jon Van Zyle

Jon Van Zyle is known best for being the creator of the annual Iditarod poster since 1977. He has raced in the Iditarod twice in his life, once in 1976 and again in 1979. Jon Van Zyle was named official artist of the Iditarod in 1979, and he still holds that title today. Jon and his wife Jona live near Eagle River, Alaska. Even thought they don't race dogs they own a team of Siberian Huskies.
