 The Husky is a hard working and valuable dog.
It can pull a sled farther and faster than any other dog. It is a strong, intelligent animal.
It can find its way home through blizzard conditions and darkness.
Some of them race in the Iditarod.
 When hunting they can get up to speeds of 30 mph. They also wear harnesses.
The Husky has small pointed ears. It looks similar to a wolf.
They have a protective covering that lets the dog sleep in temperatures such as –70* F [-57*C].
 Huskies are related to the Alaskan Malamute and the Saymoyd.
They eat meat, dead plants, and fish. They can go without food for several days.
 The mushers use terms such as these
 Mush, hike or let’s go  = go
 Gee = turn right
 Haw =turn left
 Whoa =stop and is hard to learn for Huskies
