The Dyer Parent Teacher Organization is an integral part of the educational program at Dyer School.. The group meets at the school on a monthly basis and enjoys guest speakers and programs by students. The PTO provides an art teacher for students in grades K - 5. The Accelerated Reader program, playground needs, and Dyer School Media Center are supplemented by the PTO. Major fund raisers include a Fall Festival, Santa's Secret Workshop, magazine drive, and a spring Pizza Party. The Dyer PTO also sponsors an Honor Banquet for students in grades 5 - 8 who make the honor roll for five grading periods.
Thanks to the PTO, we have a new slide, swings, and carousel on our playground! New volleyball standards, a portable basketball goal for the gym, and additional physical education equipment are also compliments of the PTO.
