Newbury House Inn & Pioneer Cottage

Newbury House Inn was originally used as a boarding house in the 1880's. It has five beautifully furnished Victorian bedrooms and a guest's parlor where evening tea is served offering guests a place to relax, read, or play chess.

Pioneer Cottage was the first frame building constructed in Rugby in 1880. It served as a temporary lodging for many of the early colonists until other housing was arranged. Thomas Hughes spent his first visit to Rugby here. Today, it is a housekeeping cottage with three bedrooms, parlor, eat-in kitchen and bath and a half. It will sleep up to ten.
