Secret in the Attic
Introduction: This is a story about a girl that found out about her great grandmother while exploring the attic.
Erin: One day I was searching through the attic and I saw a picture of my great grandmother. She looked just like me. Don't you think that's weird? I do. I never knew that someone in my family looked just like me, except for my hair.
Lauren: It doesn't matter if you do, everyone takes after someone in their family.
Erin: Well, I don't know about me because no one knows who I look like. They say I look like everyone.
Shayla: Doesn't everyone say you look like your mother?
Erin: No! I look like my dad!
Lauren: Back to our story.
Lauren: I went into the attic and saw a golden dress that had orange on it. My great grandmother wore it to her wedding. It fit me perfectly. I also found a bouquet of flowers. I asked my mom if I could wear it to my farm and she said yes.
Shayla: I found a beautiful silver neckless. It had a heart with an angel on it. I found mine in the trunk with other necklesses and rings that were my great grandmother's.
Erin: I found a beautiful ring and bear in the back yard. They were in a bag. The ring was gold and the bear was brown. I think she wore the ring to her wedding.
Shayla: My great grandmother's name is Beverly.
Erin: My great grandmother's name is Reba.
Lauren: My great grandmother's name is Ludell.
