Dear Mrs. Goldilocks,
My name is Papa Bear and I have some things to say about your child.  She sneaked into our house.  She broke a chair, and ate our porridge.   I want you to keep that rotten child away from our property!

Sincerely,
Papa Bear

Dear Mrs. Goldilocks,
Your daughter has broken into my house.  She has destroyed my furniture.  She has eaten my food, and slept in my bed.  I think you should put her in her room for a week and do not let her play.

Your enemy,
Baby Bear

Dear Mrs. Goldilocks,
Your daughter has messed up our house.  She broke my chair!   Then she ate all our porridge!  Then she slept in all our beds!  Will you please ground her?  Oh, will you tell her that when her grounding is over that she can come back?  Thank you!

Sincerely,
Baby Bear

Dear Mrs. Goldilocks,
Your daughter wrecked my house!  She came into my house without me knowing!  She tasted Papa Bear's and my porridge and ate my Baby bear's porridge all up!  I had to clean that table for a long time.  She sat in Papa's and my chair and wrinkled them.  She broke Baby Bear's favorite chair!  He still hasn't stopped crying!  She messed up our beds and we found her in Baby Bear's!   We had to run her out of our house!  I think she should work in our house for a month.  Send me an answer.

Sincerely,
Mama Bear

The sixth grade section B had to write a true or fictional story about an animal hero.
By Caleb
Once there was a monkey who lived in South America.  He was one of the few monkeys who lived in the Amazon.  He was never near any of the other monkeys.  He always stayed in the trees.  Non of the other animals would ever come by because they thought he was weird.  The real reason he hid was because he didn't have a left hand.  Well, back behind the Amazon is a small city called Venezuela.  There lived a little girl named Carmen Garcia.  She was a very nice girl; a straight A student.  She was always going to Amazon jungle to play on the trees and logs.  Every time she went, she saw the monkey.  Every time she tried to get close, it ran away.  One day she came home and her mother asked "Where have you been Carmen?"  She said "I've been in the jungle."   Carmen's mother, Maria said "Did you see that little monkey again?"   "Yes, Mother, I did." said Carmen.  "And it ran away?" said Maria.  "Yes" Carmen replied.  The next day Carmen went walking across a river and this river was flowing very rapidly.  She had crossed it many times and thought that the log she was using was sturdy. She stepped on a damp spot and fell.  All of a sudden the little monkey appeared.  The monkey was light so he wouldn't fall through as Carmen had.  He reached with his one hand and saved Carmen!   They were best friends forever after!

Today, I'm going to tell you about a small dog who saved the day.   It was not a ordinary dog, this dog was a hero.
It all started when old lady Bingham was cooking her Sunday afternoon dinner.  She was the owner of the smartest dog in the world.  She taught the dog every trick you could imagine.  She even taught it where the fire station was.  Now, old lady Bingham wasn't in the best of shape.  She was in pretty bad shape.  After all she was 93.  Her oven had been acting up, but old lady Bingham hadn't paid it much attention.  All of a sudden there was a strange smell.  It smelled like gas.  She wasn't sure though so she kept on cooking her supper.  The gas smell got so strong that it made the old lady pass out.  One hour later her daughter and son showed up to eat dinner with her after church.  The house was on fire... it was going up in flames.  Daisy, the dog had gotten out of the house.  When they saw here they remembered that she knew how to get to the fire station which was two blocks down.  The son wrote a note saying that the house   was on fire and they needed help.  The firemen came and they saved the old woman and the house.  It just needed a little work.  Ever since then the dog has been the hero of that town.

It was a normal day in September.  At the Justice house, in Florida, the mom, Sharlene, was cooking supper.  She went to ask her son Aaron if her would tell his father to come and eat.  When she left the stove a rag caught on fire.   That fell and caught the rug on fire.  Their dog, Cocoa, a black lab / golden retriever mix, saw the smoke from the house and knew it wasn't a good sign.  He busted through the glass door and saw that the house was filled with smoke.  He heard a scream.  It was Nicole, the youngest member of the family, stuck in her room.   The dad, Tony, came home a yelled for his family.  He couldn't see so Cocoa led him through the house to get his family.  They called the fire department and all were saved.  The community gave Cocoa an award for saving the family from dying.

My animal hero is Chili the Great Dane.  One day he and his owner were walking along the sidewalk when Jonathan , the owner, smelled smoke.   Chili smelled it too and started running towards it.  He was running so hard that Jonathan had to let go of the leash.  Chili ran into the burning house.  A couple of minutes later the fire department came.  Chili came running out of the house with a little boy.  Chili was awarded a medal of honor and lived life happily ever after with his owner, Jonathan.
