Causes of El Nino.

No one knows exactly how El Nino forms, but scientists do know mostly how. The long process begins with a shift in air movement over the mid-Pacific Ocean. This shift changes wind direction and ocean circulation, which in turn heats water and disrupts air movement. This is how El Nino forms. The shifting wind and warmer water forms storm systems and causes odd climates for some regions.
