The Saffir Simpson Scale rates the destructive power of a
hurricane from one to five. A hurricane that is
rated one causes little damage to plants and mobile homes.
A two usually causes major damage to building roofs, Mobile homes, and
a few trees are often blown over. A hurricane with a rating of three blows down large trees,
causes damage to small buildings, and Destroys some mobile homes.
A four hurricane floods building close to the ocean and wipes out all
mobile homes. The most powerfull hurricane is a five, causing
extensive damage to homes and large buildings, completly
distroying small building, and causing damage to structures within
500 meters of the ocean.
