JMP Tutorial:
Exporting a JMP File into Excel

Click the link below and save the following JMP file to your Desktop:

• Tire Data

Now go to your Desktop and double click on the JMP file you just downloaded.
This action will start JMP and display the content of this file:

Go to the File menu and select Save As... :

In the resulting dialog box, change the Save as type box to Excel Workbook (*.xlsx). For compatibility with older versions of Microsoft Excel, you may wish to check Use Excel 97-2003 Format (.xls):

Click Save. A dialog box may pop up asking you to confirm saving it in this format. Choose Yes.

If you leave the Open the file after saving box checked, the file will automatically open in Excel:

Notice that the first row now contains the column names from JMP.
