Zhongren Wang earned his PhD in 2000.  His dissertation is entitled “Formulation and Assessment of a Customizable Procedure for Pavement Distress Index.”

Zhongren holds a B.S. degree and a M.Eng. degree from Tongji University, Shanghai, China.  He worked on many pavement and highway related projects at China’s Ministry of Communications subsequently.  Zhongren earned a second M.Eng. degree at the National University of Singapore in Transportation Engineering before joining Dr. Han’s program.
