Postdoctoral researchers: Trinh lab has several openings for postdoctoral positions. 1. Computation Project. We are interested in recruiting a postdoctoral candidate with a strong, peer-reviewed publication record, computational skills and background in large-scale metabolic network modeling (i.e., bacteria, yeast, or microbiomes), bioinformatics, optimization, computational biology, and/or machine learning. An interested candidate can send his/her CV and research statement to Dr. Trinh (ctrinh@utk.edu). Click here to apply! 2. Yeast Experiment Project. We are interested in recruiting a postdoctoral candidate with a strong, peer-reviewed publication record, experimental skills and background in CRISPR-based genome editing, cell culturing, physiology, and genetics of non-model yeasts (e.g., Yarrowia sp., Candida sp.), high-throughput, genome-wide screening, metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, advanced fermentation, and/or bioinformatics. An interested candidate can send his/her CV and research statement to Dr. Trinh (ctrinh@utk.edu). Click here to apply! 3. Bacteria Experiment Project. We are interested in a postdoctoral candidate with a strong, peer-reviewed publication record, experimental skills and background in CRISPR-based genome editing, cell culturing, physiology, and genetics of thermophiles (e.g., C. thermocellum, B. coagulans), high-throughput, genome-wide screening, metabolic engineering, synthetic biology, advanced fermentation, and/or bioinformatics. An interested candidate can send his/her CV and research statement to Dr. Trinh (ctrinh@utk.edu). Click here to apply!
Graduate students: We are recruiting self-motivated and creative students to join the group.
Undergraduate students: We are recruiting self-motivated and creative undergraduate students with good academic records who are interested in doing independent research projects. An interested candidate can send his/her CV and unofficial transcript to Dr. Trinh (ctrinh@utk.edu). |
