Aaron Miller is a 2nd year PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering department at UTK.
Previously, he received a B.S. in both Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Currently, Aaron is working on developing minimally invasive sensing techniques designed to encourage post-stroke patients to continue their rehabilitation in the home setting.
He is currently supported on an NIH grant.
Aaron's research interests are in rehabilitation and dynamic modeling of humans using minimally invasive sensing methods.

Fengpei Yuan is a 1st year master student in the Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering department at UTK. Previously, she received her B.A. in Mechatronics Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. Currently, Fengpei is contributing to the CAREER project focused on developing closed-loop control framework for the treatment of neurodegenerative disease.
Fengpei's research interests are in machine learning, social robotics and human-robot interaction.

Nader Naghavi is a 1st year PhD student in the Mechanical Engineering department at UTK. Previously, he received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Iran) and University of Tehran (Iran), respectively. Currently, Nader is contributing to the Parkinson's disease (PD) project focused on developing methods for monitoring and identifying characteristics of motor patterns preceding freezing of gait, with the goal of ensuring stable gait of parkinsonian patients.
Nader's research interests include rehabilitation engineering, wearable systems and machine learning.

Zachariah Nelson is a 2nd year Masters student in the Mechanical Engineering department at UTK. Previously, he received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Lipscomb University. Currently, Zachariah is contributing to the Post-Stroke Project focused on developing improved feedback for physical therapy using wearable sensors.
Zachariah's research interests are in Robotics, Machine Learning, and Signal Processing.
