AMTREK can be used to image plants under infrared or visible illumination. Some ideas and sample videos are listed below.

One project is to screen mutants in the ethylene signaling pathway for altered bending responses such as gravitropism, phototropism, apical hook curvature, nutational bending, and obstacle avoidance. Examples of gravitropism:
                etiolated Arabidopsis seedling  |  etiolated white millet seedlings  |  re-orientation of millet seedling

 This setup can also be used to explore other movement responses in plants. Here are sample videos of growing plants:
