The Spaces Between _Remote Contact Exchange Portfolio_
Bjørn Thomassen describes liminality as “…moments or periods of transition during which the normal limits to thought, self-understanding, and behavior are relaxed, opening the way into novelty and imagination, construction and deconstruction.” We have found ourselves in a liminal space where our normal patterns and behaviors have been challenged. We are separated by our politics, cultures, religions, beliefs, and literal space. How has this affected you and your work? How have you filled the spaces between?
