Who Are We?

The Institute of Nuclear Materials Management is a not-for-profit international professional organization founded in 1958. The Institute encompasses the entirety of the nuclear materials management profession. In its 59th year, the Institute includes six technical divisions and professional chapters in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The Institute’s student chapters outnumber the professional chapters. And the Institute continues to grow.

INMM is dedicated to the safe, secure and effective stewardship of nuclear materials and related technologies. This is acheived through advancement of scientific knowledge, technical skills, policy dialogue, professional capabilities, and best practices.

The Institute of Nuclear Materials Management will be the leading international professional society for the stewardship of nuclear materials and related technologies to enhance global security.
