ABOUT JAMES

I am an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Tennessee. My research focuses on the theoretical and empirical aspects of international trade policy.


I am on the Board of Directors of the Midwest International Economics Group that organize the Midwest Economic Theory and the Midwest International Trade conferences every fall and spring. I am also an Associate Editor at the Canadian Journal of Economics and a CESifo Research Network Affiliate.


I teach courses at the undergraduate and PhD level in International Trade and Microeconoimc Theory.
