Sigma Nu Enjoys Very Busy Social Year

The 2015-16 academic year saw the Epsilon Eta chapter of Sigma Nu maintain a very busy social schedule. The chapter participated in a variety of mixers and mega mixers with Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Gamma and Delta Zeta. Themes this year included Woodstock, the 80’s, Heaven and Hell, Halloween and Space Jam. Spring semester the chapter held an ice skating mixer with over 150 brothers and dates attending. Fall semester the chapter sponsored a rap concert with another fraternity on campus. This year the annual winter formal was held in the Sunsphere in downtown Knoxville. February saw the chapter spend a Friday night skiing at Ober Gatlinburg overlooking downtown Gatlinburg. The chapter donated hundreds of cans of food so that all brother’s lift tickets were free. For the second year in a row, the chapter held their spring formal in Lexington, KY. The chapter attended a minor league game on Friday night, enjoyed the races at Keeneland Race Track on Saturday and ended the evening with their annual formal. Over 200 brothers and dates make the drive up I-75 for the end of the year event.
