Bio
Zhenbo Wang was born in Jiangsu province, China. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2010, and his Master’s degree in Control Engineering from Beihang University (a.k.a. Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Beijing, China, in 2013. In 2018, he finished his Ph.D. study under the supervision of Professor Michael J. Grant in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. Currently, he is working as a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN. His research interests are in the area of guidance, control, and dynamics, and specifically include optimal control, convex optimization, and machine learning with applications to vehicle dynamics, guidance, navigation, control, and trajectory optimization.
